Wensum Ward – Toby Bolton

I came to Norwich as a student studying Biomedicine in 2015. Whilst studying I fell in love with the city and never left. I have taught science at a local secondary school for 3 years before transitioning into my current role as Climate Change and Environment project officer in a neighbouring Norfolk council. I hope to use my knowledge gained in this role to hold Norwich City Council to account on the Climate and Biodiversity emergencies happening in this fine city. I am also a passionate litter picker along the Wensum in my kayak and hope to move the council towards high standards when it comes to waste, including tackling fly tipping and littering in a more effective manner.

In my free time I read, play boardgames and love going on long nature filled walks, including locally at Sweet Briar Marshes and Mousehold Heath.
